Recent Training, Waypoint Church, Clarkston, Michigan

On April 29 Diana presented a 3-hour training to 26 men and women hosted by Waypoint Church, an innovative congregation, with participants from at least three other churches. It was well-received as show by the ratings, comments, and by the fact that at least two of them went "a-callin" at a nursing home that afternoon to apply the skills taught and to use the materials that were part of the workshop. They reported that all was very helpful. Carolyn Place, shown on Diana's left in the picture of the three of us, did an extraordinary job of publicizing and making arrangements. Two parent/young adult pairs attended, and three pastors. Praise God for all who have compassion for the men and women in America's most neglected mission field.
